Hey Everyone,

                Hope that all of yall all are having a good summer.  This is the first time that I have sent the news letter via internet so let me know what you think.  Things here if Peru are going really well.  The church that I’m helping at just celebrated their 3^rd year as a church.  We had a celebration, all day Sunday was for the kids with games and music, and after church on Sunday night we all ate chicken and rice.  It was a lot of fun.  That same week there was a mission team from South Carolina that came down.  We went to schools, a prison, an orphanage, and did lot’s of street evangelism.  They had a skit that they would perform of Christ dieing for us and then would explain it to the people and pray with them.  It was a great time.

This is a picture when we were in a section of town called Gamarra.  There are always lots of people here, and you can see how willing they are to listen to the message of Jesus.  They did the skit here twice, and both times we saw God move greatly.  We also had a chance to go and spend some time at an orphanage for special needs people.  These people range in age from 10 up to 40 and most of them were dropped off because they were unwanted by their families.  The group bought them lunch that day because usually all they have to eat is beans and rice.                 As for me, everything is going well.  I’ve had the opportunity to speak at church and to meet a lot of great ministers.  The people here are hungry for the true Word of God.  They’ve been saturated in mysticism and religion, so when they here of the true freedom that there is in Christ that accept it with arms wide open.  The people here are wonderful and very open hearted, especially to missionaries who just want to tell them about Christ.  Christ has blessed me more then I could write and I want all of yall to know that I could not do without yall’s prayers, encouragement, and financial support.

                Thank you very much for everything.  The orphanage that this ministry supports wants me tell everyone of you thanks also.  I’m going to try to make it to Trujillo where they are so that I can send some pictures of all of them to yall.

I’ve been working on some articles(bible studies, current events, and doctrine) and next week I will send one out to everyone.
